Storey County Professional Fire Fighters would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mayor Smith. Mayor Smith was always a huge advocate and supporter of first responders and our nation's military. He exemplified the meaning of public service and emanated those values as a leader in our community. He will be greatly missed...
Dozer 74 with an operator and a heavy equipment boss have been assigned to the #LoyaltonFire. Stay safe brothers and all other firefighters working this incident!
New changes to how firefighters coexist at fire camps . All firefighters must pass through a thermal temperature check station before proceeding to the hand washing station and then onto the chow line. Masks are mandatory and social distance is enforced. Eating tables are limited to no more than 4 firefighters at a time.

With so much gloom going around we would like to share some happiness! Last evening at 2038 our fire family added a little princess to the mix! Danielle Raine Tillisch came into this world weighing in at 6lbs 10oz and 20.5" long! Momma and baby are both healthy! Congratulations to the Tillisch family, she is perfect!

This allows familiarity of apparatus access points, water supply locations, target hazards, and review of HAZMAT utilized and stored on site. Get out there, learn your District, and train the Probie!
